Developer Solutions for Platforms
LiveRamp powers platforms to build a competitive edge with the ability to embed deterministic identity.
Activation API
The Activation API offers programmatic access to LiveRamp’s data activation solutions. Users are able to activate PII (personally identifiable information or “PII,” such as email address, name, postal address, etc.)- and device-based segment data on popular platforms to reach audiences across every screen.
Common Use Cases:
- Integrate LiveRamp’s Activation API within your platform to programmatically activate segments for distribution to all LiveRamp-supported destinations.
- Give your end customers programmatic access to LiveRamp’s destination ecosystem directly from your platform.
- Get delivery status on all the job activities for a given segment.
Authenticated Traffic Solution (ATS) API
The Authenticated Traffic Solution (ATS) enables data activation and measurement without using third-party cookies or other device identifiers. ATS can be utilized on the web, in-app, and connected television.
Leverage ATS capabilities by reselling them to brands and publishers.
Common Use Cases:
- Integrate with ATS to support audience-building and attribution workflows that do not depend on cookies or require brands to send PII to a media platform.
- Power identity resolution of identifiers from digital properties and use envelopes as a means to safely send data back to LiveRamp or other integrated platforms to build audiences and/or measure conversions.
- Enable first-party user data monetization improving publisher revenue streams by exchanging sensitive data with an opaque, encrypted envelope that contains pseudonymous identifiers.
Identity: Retrieval API
The Retrieval API translates resolved data between different ID spaces, while maintaining privacy and permissioning standards.
Common Use Cases:
- Match PII-based data directly to RampIDs for an onboarding tool.
- Populate a data lake keyed to RampIDs programmatically.
- Pseudonymize data to join with measurement or third-party data sets.
